| Freedom Life Centre's HistoryFreedom Life Centre developed from a meeting in 1980, when the Lord called aside four people to pray one night each week. The Lord revealed many things that are now part of the ministry. The Holy Spirit has continued to lead and enhance the ministry. Freedom Life Centre was established as a ministry arm of Rangeville Uniting Church, Toowoomba, Queensland and was recognised by the Uniting Church in Australia as a legitimate ministry of the Rangeville Uniting Church (RUC), and since 1995, the Rev. Dr. Colin Warren has served full-time in the ministry of Freedom Life Centre. He was director until October 1999 when the Rev Herman Ruyters (Minister of Rangeville Uniting Church) became the new director and Dr Warren the Chief Executive Officer. Rangeville UCA has been the venue from which this work has grown over the years, with many members of the congregation becoming involved. The deliverance teams have ministered to thousands of people individually from intrastate, interstate and overseas. Rev. Dr. Warren retired as CEO at the end of 2003. Rev. Dr. John Lucas became the new CEO from January 2004. He served in that position until the end of September 2006. In February, 2004, Rangeville Uniting Church and Freedom Life Centre left the Uniting Church in Australia and became an independent church, Rangeville Community Church under Rev, Herman Ruyters. Rangeville Community Church and Freedom Life Centre are affiliated with the Crosslink Christian Network, a network of independent churches and ministries under the leadership of Rev. Brian Medway of Grace Christian church, Canberra. All the ministry and teaching of Freedom Life Centre is firmly based on the love of God, the caring and healing work of Jesus Christ, the work of the Holy Spirit and the teaching of scripture. Freedom Life Centre is a ministry of Rangeville Community Church. | |||||||||||
